| FULLY ADHERED UNINSULATED TIMBER BALCONY SYSTEM

SYSTEM | OVERVIEW

The Fatra fully adhered system is bonded directly to the substrate using the Fatrabond moisture curing polyurethane adhesive. The Fatrafol 807v is unaffected by substrate moisture and inclement weather conditions during installation, unlike liquid applied membranes which can delaminate & defect prematurely.

All joints, laps and terminations are hot air fusion welded creating a permanent and physical bond which doesn't rely on adhesives, sealants or tapes to create a waterproofed joint.

The fully adhered system improves drainage to the rainwater outlets, provides improved aesthetics due to not being exposed to a certain amount of wind flutter and also reduces disruption to the client during the installation process.

The fully adhered system provides the client with a number of overlaying finishes such as timber decking, screed and tile finishes and adjustable paver systems. The Fatra system can also be implemented into the cavity wall to create a fully integrated waterproofing system.

FATRAFOL 807v | Fleece Back PVC Waterproofing Sheet Membrane

The Fatrafol 807v has a 120gsm fleece backing which enables the PVC membrane to be fully adhered directly to the substrate without any primers or extensive preparation.

FATRABOND 1215 | Moisture Curing Polyurethane Adhesive

The Fatrabond 1215 moisture curing polyurethane adhesive is used to bond the Fatrafol 807v PVC membrane directly to the substrate. The Fatrabond 1215 adhesive is unaffected by substrate moisture and inclement weather improving installation programme and productivity.

RAINWATER | OUTLETS

Fatra offer an array of different rainwater outlets and overflows for all shapes and sizes. The prefabricated outlets have a PVC membrane flange enabling the accessory to be simply inserted into the drainage pipe and hot air fusion welded to the Fatra PVC sheet membrane. This creates a fully integrated waterproofing system and reduces installation times onsite. All outlets come with an adjustable leaf guard to prevent blockages of the outlets to minimise maintenance.

FATRAFIX | BAR

Fatra offer a unique ancillary which enables the client to mechanically anchor items such as solar panels, air conditioning units and timber decking to the structure without having to penetrate the waterproofing membrane which creates extensive detailing and weak points within the waterproofing system. The Fatrafix Bar is an aluminium bar which is encapsulated in PVC membrane and is simply welded to the field sheet membrane.

In 1994 achieved ISO9001 (Quality management) for the design and manufacture of our PVC membranes.

FM approved accreditation for interior & exterior fire performance, wind uplift performance, dynamic puncture resistance, solar reflectivity, hail and susceptibility to heat damage and corrosion resistance. FM Approvals is the only organisation in the world that tests complete roof assemblies when subject to multiple elements.

In 2000 Fatra ranked amongst the first PVC membrane manufacturing companies to hold ISO14001 for the manufacturing of their products rather than just for their office functions.

Fatrafol membranes hold the CE marking which is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products.

Fatra obtained accreditation from the BBA for its physical performance and fire resistance and states the Fatrafol PVC membrane has a life expectancy in excess of 30 years.

In 2008 the Building Research Establishment (BRE) published the New Green Guide to Specification. This now states that PVC membranes such as Fatrafol can achieve an A+ rating, the most environmentally friendly rating possible.
